Posted: January 27, 2010 in Life

It is list time again! I have been really busy so these are starting a little late. So I didn’t get a lot of new music this year sadly 😦 I also heard a lot of new bands but didn’t get a chance to pick up their albums and really listen to them, oops.  It was a battle for the last few albums, but here is the final outcome; the top 13 albums that I got this year.

Very interesting – Animal Collective blew my mind; listened to M.Ward almost daily for about a month straight; I was disappointed with Oberst. Make sure to check out Passion Pit if you haven’t already – also Mumford & Sons “Sigh No More” can be described as EPIC FOLK

I think I came a little late to the Animal Collective party, so I didn’t really get to listen to it as much as I would have liked. M. Ward is a beast and he has been on my list three times in different forms in the last two years, and is one of the key reasons MoF is my number one. I agree that this Oberst Album wasn’t as good as last years, there were a few truly awesome songs on there that I listened to a ton.

I’ll check out those guys, I love new music!
